Enhancing your life by bringing a dog into the family is a lifelong commitment, and not one to be taken lightly! The time we devote to training our pets is a small price to pay for the unconditional love, respect, loyalty and companionship they reward us with during the course of their lifetime. Waggin' Tails Dog Training specializes in private, customized lessons that take place in and around your home--where it counts the most!
By combining positive reinforcement
with fun, enthusiastic motivation, and using humane correction methods
we teach you how to establish leadership within your family pack. Then we'll build on that solid foundation by training your dog to respect
your leadership, trust you implicitly, and look to you for
direction. A socialized, well-behaved dog is a treasure and a pleasure
to live with. It will be more than happy to accompany us to family
gatherings, friends' homes, kids' activities, parks, on workouts, and
sometimes even to our workplace. It's our responsibility to teach our
furry, four-legged kidz the social skills necessary in order for
them to behave politely--not only in our homes with family and
friends, but also out in public.
Our knowledgeable and
energetic trainer will
customize commands and innovative problem-solving techniques to
reflect specific goals stated by you for your dog.
coined the phrase
"Doglish"― the language you need to learn in order to
effectively communicate with your dog. English is a second
language to your dog, so expecting it to respond to your
"commands" is unfair and will only cause
confusion and stress--for both of you. Clear communication
is the key to training in a positive and fair manner, rather than
getting frustrated or angry and possibly resorting to harsh methods. You will
learn to understand dog psychology, how it views what's going on
around it at the time, and why you
shouldn't pass judgment if it doesn't seem to be living up
to your human expectations. We take pride in helping you build and maintain a strong
loving and trusting bond with your dog--one that lasts a lifetime!
